Good design removes questions
Most drop-off is not caused by ugly screens. It is caused by hesitation — an unclear label, a form asking for something the person doesn't have to hand, a button that doesn't look like a button. Our job is to find those moments before they cost you customers.
We work from real tasks: what someone is trying to achieve, what they know when they arrive, what gets in the way. That turns into flows, wireframes and a tested prototype, then a visual system your developers can build from without guessing at spacing and states.
What the design phase produces
- User flows for the journeys that matter most
- Clickable prototype to test before build
- A component library with states and spacing defined
- Accessible colour, contrast and type choices
How we approach design work
Research and audit
Interviews, analytics and a walkthrough of the current experience to find where people stall.
Wireframes and prototypes
Structure agreed in grey boxes first, so debates about layout don't happen in the middle of visual design.
Interface design
Visual design that carries your brand and stays readable on a small screen in bright light.
Design systems
Reusable components, tokens and rules so new screens stay consistent long after we finish.
Usability testing
Real people given real tasks, recorded, with the fixes prioritised by how much friction they remove.
Developer handover
Specs, assets and behaviour notes handed over in a form engineers can build from directly.
Before you get in touch
Can you design without building?
Yes. Plenty of clients bring us in for research, flows and interface design, then hand the files to their own development team. The handover pack is written for that.
Do you redesign existing products?
Often. We audit the current experience, find the highest-friction screens, and improve those first rather than starting from a blank page.
How do you decide what works?
By watching people use it. Prototypes get tested before code is written, and we track behaviour after launch to confirm the change actually helped.
